  Iron Bar just our patronage for life. We used to only go here every single time we went out, however for the first time today the bouncer told my boyfriend that boots were not okay at the bar. This rule would be okay if these were dirty work boots, but these were newly bought, and clean Timberland boots which is not out of ordinary in the middle of winter. Additionally we saw multiple men people in the bar wearing boots. Not only this, but the bouncer also gave us even more grief because our friends jeans had a small frey in them, again not bad since half of the men in there had ripped jeans. Sorry Iron Bar, you lost us for life.

  Iron Bar has been very good to me the past year and a half. I've always had a good experience, bathroom is ALWAYS clean, bartenders are friendly and attentive. The bouncers are a little stiff but they're also dealing with hoards of people so understandable, no issue with them ever though. The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is because I feel like they need an update on music and the speed at which they allow people in is a little ehh.
  
  That being said, if you're looking to avoid Hoboken prices and crowds and still enjoy yourself, Iron Bar is where you wanna go. Never experienced any racism or prejudice and drinks are pretty good.

  Pretty awesome bar on weekends, at least the few times I've been there. If it's a holiday like Halloween or St. Patrick's Day, I recommend getting the around 9:15 to get in.
